Nordstrom Anniversary Sale: How to shop SMART

Nothing about 2020 looks “normal”, BUT I refuse to stay locked up in my house the entire year so we are moving forward with life with a “new normal”.  This time of the year I’m typically school shopping for my family and sale shopping for my clients to prep for the Fall.  As we move forward, we are just that much more strategic and financially responsible in an uncertain time.  One of the biggest sales of the summer is always the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.  I wanted to share my tips on 

how to shop SMART and strategically:

1. Create a “Nordstrom Anniversary Sale” Shopping List.

2. Compare your shopping list to any missing wardrobe essential pieces in your closet. (I’m happy to consult with anyone on this if you aren’t currently a client!)  Now’s the time to purchase those wardrobe essentials for a versatile wardrobe!!!!

3. Pre-shop online and create your “wish list”.  This helps to keep you focused and then if you do shop in store you can compare to this list.  If you are shopping online only, I would review this “wish list” before you actually purchase to make sure you’ve made SMART choices.

4. Consider any beauty, hair, skincare products you need to replenish.

5. It’s also a great time to replenish undergarments.
