SUMMER STYLING: Casual but Stylish

unnamed.jpg

There is no denying that we are in the MIDST of some summer heat these days! But the sunshine is much appreciated with all else going on in our world. And while we start to fold up our sweaters and pull out our tank tops, I wanted to shed some light on how to dress casual but stylish:

  1. With The Kids - It is no surprise that when toting kids around (even in these times of home schooling and less activities) our wardrobe can very quickly become a thing we hardly think about. A simple way to stay casual and stylish is by adding easy flare to your outfits. Throw on jeans or shorts and a tee then add a statement necklace or a scarf in your hair!  Adding arm candy to any simple look instantly elevates your look.  It doesn’t have to be over the top but a little goes a long way.

  2. Working From Home - Most of us are still working from our at home stations. And while that means we are no longer shivering in an office, we do still have reason to present ourselves! Throw on a cotton dress or a work appropriate tee and flowy skirt for a simple yet put together summer look.

  3. Out And About - Going out looks different now. While we slowly start to social distance together again, use it as an excuse to show off a fun sun dress or a cute breezy top. Focus on a pop of color on your lips or a bright flat to tie the look together!

Most of all, just remember to have fun with your wardrobe and bring a little JOY to your day!  It’s extra important these days to find happiness in the little things.  A few small shifts in your wardrobe can really make an impact and hopefully boost your mood to feel confident!!!
