Let's Get Organized!!

February is here and while I am getting all in my red and pink feels, I am also moving along from the cleaning out option of my new year goals and well on my way to the ORGANIZING game!! So, as you start to look around at the piles of clothes you've made, and perhaps the chaos of toys and other things in your home, here are a few tips to help get you back on track and right along: 

Baskets Are Beautiful - Not only are boxes a great way to tuck things away in your closets and around your home, but they are a way to add a little beauty to your organizational skills! This is something you can have fun with while still being practical in your journey of organizing. 

Hangers Matter - If you haven’t heard me say this by now you must be new here, in which case welcome! And let me tell you a very important rule to organizing a closet: MATCHING HANGERS!!! Having the same fabric AND color hangers makes a world of difference in your space.  Trust Me!

Color Coordinating - You have heard me talk about color coordinating your closet in reverse ROYGBIV order, but I am actually a fan of “color coordinating” all your spaces when organizing. When decorating a room, by focusing on a color or accent colors in your pillows, boxes, storage options, you are able to bring cohesion into the room and add a similarity throughout.
