It’s the top of the year, which means it’s time to CLEAN! I love starting each year with a major clean out of my entire home. That’s right, top to bottom, front to back, even the little nooks and crannies of my kid’s spaces.

It’s something that not only sets me up for success over the year but helps keep me sane as I step into new seasons. I’m so adamant about this deep clean I’ve made a habit of adding it to our family goals each year.

The thing with cleaning your whole home though, is it can feel a bit daunting. Where to start? What’s most important?

This year I’m taking a new approach and starting with the places that mean the most to me. The other day I cleaned out our junk drawer, and I have to say, I’ve never felt more productive! It’s a small space but one we use every single day. Such an important place to have organized. Now every time I grab for the tape or scissors I can take a breath of appreciation for the work done.
