Decorating For The Holidays

The holidays are coming in HOT! And honestly, after the year we have all had, I think it is the perfect excuse to get into it. Now, I am someone who most of the time takes the practical road, so it is no difference here. These are some tips I have for decorating while not blowing your budget out of the water, and still feeling festive along the way.

Ribbon - Ribbon isn’t just for presents. If you have existing wreaths or other items in your home that can be spruced up with a big bow this is a great and inexpensive way to make holiday improvements!

Pillows.jpg

Throw Pillows - The great thing about throw pillows is you can never have too many, am I right?? In actuality, the great thing about throw pillows is that two or three red and green ones look a lot like Christmas. But one or two green ones by themselves look a lot like a chic color block. They are something you can easily buy just one festive one of and add into your everyday collection.

Little Things - Little things make a BIG difference. Adding cute touches like moss balls or nutcrackers is a lovely way to spruce up a holiday theme. Even better if it is something you have been given from a family member or can then reuse in your everyday decor once the holidays have come to an end.

Color -  This is more of a no brainer… But don’t be scared of going overboard with the red and green. Or the gold and silver. Or any color combo you want to symbolize your holiday cheer! Just remember, holiday cheer is a really great thing, and especially this year when things have seemed a little extra gloomy for so many of us.

HAPPY decorating! And may all your holidays be BRIGHT!

With LOVE and grace,

Elizabeth
